Open today 11-3 Rich is here from 11-1 helping out, so....... Propane will be closed at 1:00, and get your growlers filled early! From 1-3 the growlers might take a bit longer, it will just be me.

Hello friends!
I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Please take a moment and reflect on who & what you are thankful for. My family goes around the table and everyone give one or more reason that they are thankful for. It's a nice tradition, and it really makes you think.
I know I am not posting here as much as I should, but with the Facebook & Twitter stuff so much easier...well, I am favoring those venues. So although I am just doing a "what's on tap" post, I figured I'd take the time to tell my most loyal readers the following.
I will be using only my blog to post special & limited releases! You guys have been reading this blog for quite some time, and this is my thank you.

Long Islands newest licensed brewery, Port Jefferson Brewing Company, will be on hand for a tasting!
It's another brewery launch!
Port Jeff Brewings FIRST in-store tasting! Brewmaster and brewery owner Mike Philbrick will be conducting tastings and there will be growler fills of some of these, Schooner Ale, Porter, Boo Brew, and Black IPA. There will also be giveaways of PJBC gear with your purchase.
I've had Mike involved in my charity events, and he has always ponied up some beer for the events! A great guy who supports our charity endevors!
SO.....
Come down to meet and support another local guy who actively supports his community!

I'm away for a few days...some of you know what that means.....I will be coming home with some goodies! What, I'm not sure right now, but I'll let you know!

Garret is working his last day today. He is going to take some time off, then move on to something else. We had some fun, enjoyed sampling as bunch of beers, hung out with some good people, but sometimes you decide that something is just not "right" for you, as much fun as the fun part is.
Stop by and wish him well today. I'm sure you'll see him here again at a tasting or two! That is how most of us met him & Rachel in the first place, isn't it?!
