Another Great Tasting, And The Return Of Beero Of The Week!

  Awesome tasting today! Along with the regular stuff, we cracked open Bourbon County Stout Rare, Sophie, Big John, Night Stalker, Pere Jacque, 2009 & 2010 Bourbon County Stout, Minx, Matilda, Pepe Nero, Fleur, and maybe something else. I can't remember! Avril & Rich both brought in Cheese platters for pairing too!
  There were lots of growlers being filled, lots of folks learning about Beer & Cheese pairing, and some real travelers in the house! A few people from Nassau, Jackie & Dude, I suck at names sometimes, from Queens, and the official "Beero's Of The Week" Gallagher & Allie (Ally?) from New Jersey!!!!!! I thought they were doing something out here and decided to stop by, but they made the trip just for the tasting and to check the place out! Very cool! The are a super nice couple, and really dig good beer. My kind of beer geeks!
   On the way home, I suggested they hit The Good Life for dinner. I hope they did.

    That was a great tasting. Avril brought her A game and Ryan along too. The Minx Double IPA was my favorite, even in the face of the great BCS releases. Phil also brought a great home brew sample, which I loved.

        I am glad you guys had such a good time. I was blown away that you guys would drive all of the way out here for the tasting, but after talking to you guys, I now know why! You are truly what I call "Beerfolk".
        It was good to have you guys there, and I am glad that we got the chance to chat, as well as bring you into the "secret stash" area! Folks like you are the reason I enjoy what I do so much! Rich and Ryan both commented on you two. They enjoyed talking to you as well as showing you around.
        Did my guys at The Good Life buy you the first couple of beers? If not, it was because they didn't know it was you. I probably would have been smart to tell you to introduce yourselves. Great place though. One of my top 5 ever!
