I am proud to be able to present to all of the beer enthusiasts out there a brand new local brewery!
Barrier Brewing of Oceanside N.Y.will be here on Saturday July 24th, from 3-7PM to introduce themselves & thier fine line up of beers to you!

It will be the usual good time, but with the added fun of helping a new brewery and brewmaster get thier products out & known!

I will be grilling some beer infused goodies & will probably have some other muchies to pair with Evan's great beers!

Evan Klein of Barrier Brewing Co. will be at Bellport Beer for a tasting of 5 new beers from his brand new Oceanside, NY brewery. The usual chaos and party surrounding any visiting brewer will likely occur as Bellport Dave likes to marinate wings, ribs and hot dogs in the visiting brewer's beers.

Formerly of Sixpoint Brewing Co, Evan Klein has gone out on his own with an interesting vision of establishing a local and regional brewery.

Barrier Brewing's first appearance was at the Bellport Charity Tasting for Camp Paquatuck as it took place within days of his brewery becoming an official NY State micro-brewery.

I would encourage the local BA's to come out and support this tasting as Barrier makes very good beers worth drinking in large capacities. It's also fun to see another beer lover living the dream of going pro with his own brand and style.

The Barrier Beer styles and names to be tasted: GreenRoom Pale Ale, Ruthless IPA, Barrier Belgian1, Lights Out Stout, Beech St. Wheat, & Bulkhead Red.
