The "Beero" of the week!
This weeks "Beero of the week" didn't travel as far as last weeks, but gets the mention here anyway! To me, anyone who drives more than 20 minutes out of the way for the great cause of beer consumption & bexploration deserves a pat on the back!
Steve from Lynbrook? I hope it was Lynbrook..... Took the ride to check the store out, talk beer with us, and take some great beer home! This kind of stuff is important to me because a lot of guys that make the long trip pass other great beer stores along the way, many which are bigger than mine. Not necessarily better, but bigger.
So, thank you Steve for making the trip! It was a pleasure talking to you, and I hope to see you back here again!

You are our "Beero of the week" !!!

What about the two men from Orange County? They sounded like Bero's to me.

DAVE,
Being the 'Beero of the Week' carries with it certain responsibilities. My friend Tommy was repairing my boiler and we were talking beer. I told him I had a great rare stout I picked up from a cool place. He said for great beer and great staff, all you need to know is Dave on Station Road out by him. I could not believe it. I told him Dave sold me THIS beer! So I did the right thing and gave him one (very hard to find) amazing brew for when he got home. As Beero of the Week, I just wanted you to know I was out here doing the right thing and sharing the good stuff. I am worthy, but YOU are the true Super Beero Dave. From now on, I buy my beer from you. I will see you shortly to re-up!!!

Great post Steve!
Is it Tom W?
Thanks for the story, and the great compliment!
Hope to see you soon.

No,not Tom W, Tommy LeRoux. Great boiler/heating guy and a big fan of yours.I stopped in yesterday, picked up Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. Not tried it yet. Says it develops up to 5 years in the bottle. Might put this one away in the crawl space. Put some KBS in there as well. Doing a KBS vertical in 2013. (If I can wait that long). Did the banana bread ale / double chocolate stout mix-up you suggested. Desert in a mug! The stout by itself is now one of my new favorites. I have been hanging (and sharing beer)with my friends who knew me from before I became a 'Beero of the Week'. It keeps me grounded. See you next week.
Regards,
Ambeersador Steve
