Tomorrow (Saturday Oct.24th) We will be having another Charity Beer Yard Sale. I’m not sure which charity it will go to, but I am leaning toward a small scholarship, or because Thanksgiving is coming, a local food bank. There will be some serious deals, as I am cleaning out some room for the next wave of seasonals. Everything will be sold at a loss, but we want to move it out, as well as get some cash for donations! Some stuff is out of code, some is not. Some of it is just stuff that I no longer want to carry, some from breakage (drop a 12 pk, you still have 11 to get rid of)some is overstock, some is just good stuff that I want to see gone! There is a very diverse selection of stuff, and it is a good opportunity to try stuff you otherwise would not have picked up a six pack of. It’s for charity, so if you hate something, at least you spent the $$ on a good cause!There will be great deals on Bear Republic, Smuttynose, Lions Head, Sam Adams, Amacord, hook & Ladder, Long trail, even some Unibroue, and lots more! I'll also throw a growler deal in Sam Adams Double bock refills $8.99.
The other thing, if you are feeling charitable, is that I am trying to help out 2 young (too young) couples who are expecting babies in the next 4 months. I have some stuff for them, but I still have 2 little kids and I already gave away a lot of stuff, so I don’t have everything. If you are done having kids, and have baby stuff that is collecting dust, bring it by. I helped them find a place to live, and now I want to help them fill it up! they really are nice kids, and are trying to do the best with what they have.
