The Choice Is Yours Part 2. Get In Those Votes!
I have had a total of 33 responses to the "Rare Beer Thursday" choice. 9 blog votes & 24 email votes. Thank you so much for participating! I really appreciate the enthusiasm!
Right now the order is...
1. Racer X
2. Cigar City IPA
3. Stone 13th
Everything else is far behind.
If you see one you like, and haven't voted for it yet, vote for it. For those of you who gave me your top 2 or 3, I counted your second as a 1/2 vote, and 3rd as a 1/3 vote. I'll close it out on Thursday around 12:00.
Thanks again for participating! It's been fun to check the emails, especially the long plea for tapping the Racer X before you go on your vacation! Very funny! If you allow me, I will put it on the blog, although your wife would probably make you go on vacation by yourself, or in a body bag if she reads it!
This is the original post for those who did not read it.
I don't know about you guys, but I have been having fun with this "Rare Beer Thursday" thing. Of course it is cool for me to have something on tap that no one else has, but the response has been great! It's nice for me to be able to give someone their first try of something, or to pull out a seasonal that is not in season, just when everyone starts missing it!
I don't always have the opportunity to choose from this many kegs, but when I do, I will put it to a vote.
Here is the list---let me know what you would like me to tap this Thursday.
Cigar City Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale
Cigar City IPA - Which one? I don't know. I'll find out Monday
Speakeasy Mickey Finn I.R.P. - you will find no info on this except this http://pacificstandardbrooklyn.blogspot.com/2009/09/two-brand-new-specialty-speakeasy-brews.html
Sierra Nevada Belgian Tripel
Bear Republic Racer X
Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard
Stone 13th Anniversary Ale
Sam Adams Double White
Bruery Tripel
Dogfish Head Palo Santo
Respond here on the blog, or email me. I'll tally it up, and let you know!
Thanks!
