Last Saturday's charity beer yard sale was a great success! It was also a lot of fun for those involved. Money was raised for charity & people got some great deals on beer!
  Volunteers from the Rotary were present from 10AM until about 4PM. they seemed to enjoy themselves, and were able to educate people about the good work that the Rotary does. Some people gave extra money, and one of our "I only drink Bud" guys just gave the guys $20.00 for charity. I didn't want the good deed to go unnoticed, so I quickly mixed up a package for him to take home, including some ciders for the wife.
  The Rotary was able to sell about 85% of the beer & I purchased the rest. In addition, I had wanted to do the beer yard sale a while ago, but I decided it was a good way for the Rotary to squeeze out as much money as they could from the generous donations by the beer companies.
  So now I am planning to do my own beer yard sale for the purpose of clearing out some shelf space, as well as having a bit of fun! I will set a date, and let everyone know in advance. I am looking at the week after Labor Day, but I will be sure in a couple of days.

There will be a good mix of stuff, and it will be cheap!!!!
