I will be leaving 20 or so tickets at the store. You can buy them until they are gone, and save $5.00 on the "at the door" price. You can pay with a check made out to the Bellport Rotary, use a credit card, or of course, cash.

Most of you have read the posts about this event, so I'll put the changes on the top, In bold italics. Those who have not read the previous posts can read on!

We added another brewery today. I got a call from Spencer of Southampton Brewing. He will be sending some stuff to us for the tasting. Thanks Spence!!!

TICKETS -- as you know tickets are $35.00 in advance, and $40.00 at the door. I am extending the "in advance" sale until 2:00 tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon. Pick them up at the store (Bellport Beer) or purchase through my paypal account BEFORE 2:00. I will not be able to check my account after that.

I may need some more volunteers. Unfortunately, I won't know until tomorrow. But give me a call at the store if you are available.

On Thursday, August 13th, is the Bellport Rotary / Bellport Cold Beer & Soda Beer tasting & Food pairing. This is not a beer dinner. Some websites have mistakenly listed it as a beer dinner. There will be samples of many of the fine dishes available from our generous local restaurants. There will be a list of what foods to pair with what beers.
This will be a fun event, and we will be raising money for various children's charities, the bulk of the money going to http://www.camppaquatuck.com/ 
Polio Plus, and local high school scholarships will get the rest.

I am currently working on items for the "Chuck-A-Buck" raffle (my creation) and maybe some bigger ticket items for a silent auction, or a "Chuck-A Five" raffle. Which appeals more to you?

As far as making the purchase of the tickets easy, Just go to www.paypal.com and pay my account at Beermnbelp@aol.com. The Rotary does not yet have a way to do online payments, so I offered to do it, and eat the paypal fees. I will monitor the account daily, and put the tickets in an envelope with your name on it.
We will hold all tickets at the door. Just show I.D. and you will be given an envelope containing your tickets.
Remember, this is a charity event, try to get some friends to go.
