Sixpoint Tasting Update Update!

Just Letting anyone who checks this today, that although I will not be making my usual BBQ variety cookout, I will be serving up beer infused, bbq sauce dipped, hot dogs. In celebration of Baseball being back and Sixpoint having a bunch of tap handles at Citifield, I figured I could at least do something to honor what I call the three B's of summer, Baseball, BBQ, and Beer!

Sixpoint Tasting Update

Double Bengali Tiger IPA does not exist. It was not clearly marked, or identified to me. Although I could swear that is what I was told. It is the Belgium Double IPA.
Jeff from Sixpoint called me about the 8 Days of wheat as well. It was sent to me in error. It is a Whole Foods exclusive. Although the beer geek/beer store owner in me wants to tap it and just say OOOPS! The ethical guy in me does not want to get Jeff/Union Beer/Sales guy in hot water with Sixpoint/Wholefoods/Union Beer. So I will not be tapping it unless I get the "go ahead" tomorrow.
Sometimes it sucks to be ethical!

This is the revised post.

Join us and Jeff from Sixpoint brewery for another fun & informative tasting Saturday Feb.28th From 3-7. We will have between 7 and 9 taps flowing for growler fills, as well as a Pin Cask of Otis Stout!
This is what we will be rolling out....
Sweet Action
Belgium Double IPA
Apollo Wheat
Express
Righteous Rye Ale
Dubbel Trubble
Mason Black Wheat
Brownstone Ale

The Brownstone & the Righteous Rye will be on tap Friday, the others will be tapped just prior to the tasting.
Come on down!

Thanks for the kind words Chris. And the offer of help, I may take you up on it. I'm glad you and your friends had a good time. I try to keep it fun for everyone, and as long as everyone keeps having fun, I'll keep doing tastings!
