Last Weeks Pilsner Urquell Tasting

Just a quick review of last weeks tasting.
Pilsner Urquell? "Well, OK. I'll do a tasting for you" I told my salesman. A departure from my regular full scale, beer on tap tasting for sure, but he is my favorite salesman. I figured this would be the least exciting and least fun tasting ever done here.......
Happily, I was wrong!!!!
I just realized for the first time that I had virtually ignored my regular, Bud, Miller, Coors, and general Macro/lighter beer drinkers when it comes to tastings. It was nice to have something a bit more upscale that those guys could try along with the import/micro guys.
It turned out to be a fun event. Paula, the representative, was very nice, energetic, and genuinely had fun. She did a great job. She smiled, and charmed folks to try something different. After she got the feel for the place and realized that is truly a small town type of store, she settled in and accosted folks as they came through the door!
(I had told her she could be really "in your face" here, since we're all friends) It was a pleasure having her here, and as always with a tasting here, she stayed longer than her allotted time slot. (Time flies when you're having fun!) We sold quite a bit of Pilsner, and purchasers got some free glassware and cigars.
Pilsner Urquell Glasses & specially made Rocky Patel cigars will still be available with the purchase of either a 12pk or a case for the next week or so.
