Recap- Last Saturdays Sixpoint Tasting

First, I would like to thank all of you who came to our Sixpoint tasting/BBQ. Second, I would like to apologize to any of you who were not able to get the growler fill that you wanted.
We were supplied with two jockey boxes so we could have all 8 beers on tap, but unfortunately, the boxes were missing many parts, most notably, all of the gaskets. By 3:30 we managed to mcgeyver (sp?) it, but by then the tasting was more than 1/2 over, and many folks had missed the opportunity to sample and purchase 4 of the beers.
In spite of the problems with the boxes, the tasting went well. Lots of good folks came out to check out the Sixpoint line up, and Randy from the LIBME http://malt.donavanhall.net/ grilled up some great food for those who attended. Aside from the hot dogs, turkey burgers, and beef burgers, Randy made up some special flank steaks marinated in Brother Thelonious and Rochefort 8 (6?) Delicious!!
Jeff, as always was a gracious server, and described his beers with zeal. He once again enjoyed his visit, which ensures that he will be back again to do this sometime in the future.
Look for the blog entries over the next couple of weeks to see which other Sixpoint brews hit the tap system.
Right now these are the current Sixpoint tap selections.
Tripel --maybe 1 or 2 growlers left
Groundskeeper Spilly Scotch Ale -- 2-3 growlers left
Gorilla Warfare Coffee Porter
Righteous Rye Ale
These will be on through the weekend, or until they run out.
