Jim returns To His Real Job & I'm Looking For A Manager

Yesterday was a day full of April Fools jokes, and since I am known for being a bit of a smart ass, I waited until today to post this. This way everyone will know that I am serious about both parts of this blog entry.
First, our friend and source of entertainment, Jim (or Jimbo, or Dimbo, or James, or Jumbo) put in his last day yesterday. He goes back to his work as a pool guy. His business is called JRP Pools & Spa's. If you need a great guy who does great work and stands behind it, call him at 729-6179.
It was a nice luxury having Jim here. At least for the past 2 months, I did not have to dread going in to a mess, or finding nothing was done while I was home with the boys. I thank Jim for 2 months of relative peace. I also was able to spend time smoking cigars & sampling beers with him, someone who appreciates the whole aspect of it all. We all know what a character he is, and when he went on a rant, you didn't know whether to laugh, or call a doctor. I know quite a few of you enjoyed his "kids today" rants. I did too! I doubt that he will be back here next year, but he will be around once and a while to say hi nonetheless. Feel free to use this forum to drop Jim a message.
So now the daunting task of finding a responsible and suitable replacement is here. I am putting a call out to all my blog readers....
I am looking for a manager. This should be someone who knows about beer, can talk beer, recommend beer, pair beer with foods, etc. etc. In other words, a beer guy, beer geek, beer aficionado of sorts. The retail aspect of the business can be quickly taught, the beer knowledge takes a long time to learn. This is why the beer knowledge is more important than the retail experience. I am looking for a long term employee. Someone who can help me grow the business and develop Bellport Cold Beer into a real beer destination. Someone who eventually thinks that they might like to take the reigns here. If this interests you, email, call, whatever, just get in touch with me.
