Bellport Cold Beer & Soda Family Day / Long Island Ducks Game 8/17/08

To all who are interested.....
Sunday August 17th is tagged as the day for the 1st ever Bellport Cold
Beer & Soda Family Day. Last year we did a small Father/Son Met game,
and I caught a little grief about making this a Father/Son Duck game.
I agreed that since there are so many legitimate Baseball fans that
are wives & daughters, lets make it a family affair! We are going to a
L.I. Ducks game, and sitting as a group. The game starts at 5:05, so
we will be done before most of the kiddies bedtimes. I would like to
keep this to 12 & Under, as most younger kids don't really wander too
much, and we can enjoy the day, the game, our families & friends, as
opposed to searching for missing kids all evening.
We can get in the park by 4:00, and the kids can go on the field for
pictures & autographs with the players & QuackerJack, the mascot.
After the game, those who still have energy can run the bases.
The cost is $10 per ticket. I have reserved a large block of
tickets, and I expect spots to fill up fast.
Drop me a line at Dave@Bellportbeer.com, stop by, or reply on the
blog. I will need a definite total within the next  weeks.
Cheers!

All things are good, thanks. I'll be home with the kids on Saturday. Sorry I'll miss you. I'll be there on Sunday though. Back on tap is Captain Lawrence Smoked Porter. New stuff, yeah, a few things. I'll be posting them tomorrow.
      See ya soon.
