On tap Friday afternoon.......

The Brooklyn Brewmasters reserve Extra Brune will be tapped around 4:00.
This is the description from Their myspace page.

Try the new Brewmasters Reserve: Brooklyn Extra Brune- Brooklyn Extra Brune is a Belgian-style dark abbey ale, brewed in the style developed by Belgium’s Trappist monasteries. Its rich, plumy, raisiny flavors are derived not only from Belgian yeasts, but also from imported Belgian dark “candi” sugar syrup. This syrup is ultra-caramelized, lending both flavor and color to this copper-brown beer. The yeast gives the beer a fruity/spicy complexity, which starts slightly sweet on the palate, but dries into the finish. This is a perfect beer for winter foods – game meats, lamb, stews, and rich cheeses. Malts: European Pilsner malt, Belgian “Special B”. Additional sugars: Belgian Dark Candi Hops: German Perle OG: 19.2° Plato ABV: 8.5%

SWEET! I was looking for a craft beer that paired nicely with possum.

      Mike,
Maybe you should hold off on that Beer/food pairing book you were talking about.
