Paul Browns Departure, Scotty's arrival

Just a quick note. Paul Brown, my most beer savvy employee ever, will be leaving Bellport Cold Beer soon. Much to my dismay, I could not match the $$Greener$$  pastures that his new employer has offered him. We talked extensively about this, and it took him weeks to accept the offer. This is because he really prefers to be here, likes the boss, and loves the educated beer consumer customer base that exists here. But, when it comes down to it, he had to make the financial move that is best for him. Paul is the only employee i ever had, that i was able to defer to when I couldn't answer a beer question.
He will be working his regular shifts, plus a couple of extra ones, until his last day. that will be Friday, Oct.12th.
This entry is to help him get to say goodbye to those who have become friendly with him. He has appreciated the friendships, and the great beer conversations with all of you. He will be closing with me on Friday the 12th, and perhaps we will take some time to meet some of you at maybe the brickhouse, or Bobbiques. I'll keep you posted on that.

On a brighter note, there is the arrival of my good friend Scott, (or Scotty as many of you know him) formerly of North Shore Beverage, and Westhampton Beer. His is joining me temporarily, or possibly permanently, at Bellport Cold Beer & Soda! He is currently part time, and learning the ins & outs of my store. He goes full time on October 15th. What does this mean to you? Well, it means, that everyday there will be someone there who knows the products, and enjoys talking about them, as well as learning about them.  It also means that it won't be a crap shoot anymore whether or not there is someone there who can let you know about new products, and make educated beer suggestions!
Do I sound excited about that? I am!!!
